Chief of Population Health

Elvis is a Clinical Research Professional, Public Health Expert, and Entrepreneur with over 14 years of success in nonprofit, healthcare, and pharmaceutical/clinical research in Sub-Saharan Africa. He excels in site selection, clinical trial communication, and bioethics, making him a valuable advisor for organizations conducting clinical trials in Low and Middle-income countries in Africa. Elvis consults for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, specializing in clinical trial protocol review.

As the founder and president of Unite For Health, an international nonprofit, he focuses on improving healthcare access for underserved communities in Africa. Elvis is also the Co-Lead of Design Analyze and Communicates – Africa (DAC-A), a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-funded pilot project. He has served on various boards, including the Center for Public Health Biotechnology and the Gates Foundation’s Highly Efficient Clinical Trials (HECT). He is a Mandela Washington Fellow, an Obama Foundation Scholar, and an American Express Leadership Academy Fellow.

Elvis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education, and a Master’s degree in Public Health. He is an RN with the State of New York Board of Nursing and has completed advanced training programs in global health and leadership.
